There's just something about snowfall – in Dallas, nonetheless! – that makes me feel like a little kid on Christmas morning. Never heard an exact count, but we got close to a foot dumped on us last Thursday. All I know is, I came straight home from work, threw my snow boots on and headed out with Rachel. We joined about 50-60 other people in snowman-making out on the athletic fields across the street. So fun; it was like a holiday greeting card scene.
(please disregard the crazy hair... had to take one for the team and put my toboggan on our faceless snowman!)
Of course now, the snow is mostly melted away. The snowman field looks like a battleground of melted parts and pieces. Trees are everywhere and have wreeked some serious havok on carports and fences in our neighborhood. But... it sure was fun!

Believe it or not, I actually was in town long enough to enjoy the weather(by enjoy i mean nearly was killed like 50 times in the DFW area by people who don't know how to drive on the stuff). I even almost missed my audition in Florida from flight cancellations. Although it would have been better to miss it from the way I played...Anyways. Hi, and i'm glad some good came from the madness.
1. Florida? Really?
2. I think I would like to time travel.
3. I had to work last Saturday, and one of my co-workers quoted at least 3/4 of Monty Python. I've only know one other person that was capable of such a feat. Just sayin'...
4. Sigh.
Response 1. Yes. Really. No big deal though. I totally blew it.
Response 2. After this last trip it's cash I'd like to have to travel. But time is on of those nonrenewable resources, so I definitely agree.
Response 3. LOL. However I would have finished the last 1/4 off just for completeness' sake.
Response 4. Sigh? You know that's one of those words that if you look to long at it, it doesn't make sense at all...kind of like banana.
